RANGO EXTENDIDO HAS BEEN EXPLORING THESE SITES FOR OVER 30 YEARS.
This is an incredible expedition to the African continent where we will experience three different adventures:
The Sardine Run, the largest migration in the animal kingdom. Millions of sardines travel along the African coast, attracting major predators such as sharks, dolphins, whales, tuna, as well as countless seabirds. The action during this event is breathtaking, and we will be able to witness it firsthand. We’ll use an ultralight aircraft to spot activity at sea and fast boats to reach the action. This part of the trip will last one week, and we’ll be able to snorkel and dive.
Three-day land safari, where we will search for Africa’s Big Five: Lions, Leopards, Rhinos, Buffaloes, and Elephants.
Two days of diving in Aliwal Shoals, the best reef in the area, with the chance to encounter tiger sharks and ragged-tooth sharks.
For those interested, there will be an optional trip extension (with additional cost) to see the mountain gorillas in Uganda.
Diving Requirements: Intermediate (Minimum 30 dives)
