What you will learn
Ships, planes and other sunken structures are windows to the past and, over time, they become reefs full of life. In the PADI Wreck Diver specialty you learn to plan and make wreck dives safely.
You will cover navigation around the wreck, using reels and lines, handling lights and how to identify and avoid the most common hazards. The course takes 2 days and includes theory sessions, 4 open water dives and certification.
Requirements: 15 or older and Advanced Open Water Diver certification. It is an ideal specialty for our trips to Veracruz, where there are several wrecks. If you later want to go inside wrecks, the next step is the TDI Advanced Wreck course.
