What you will learn
The closed-circuit rebreather (CCR) is the most advanced technology in diving: it recycles the gas you breathe, makes almost no bubbles and gives you 4 to 6 hours of autonomy regardless of depth. It is ideal for long dives with marine life, cave diving and deep dives.
In this course you learn to assemble, check and dive the O2PTIMA rebreather: loop control, bailout procedures and handling problems underwater. It includes instruction, pool sessions, the rebreather during the course and TDI and IANTD certification.
Requirements: be at least 18, have 50 or more logged dives, Advanced Open Water certification, Advanced Nitrox certification and dive insurance. Rango Extendido has been teaching technical diving in Mexico City for decades; message us to plan your course.
