José Manuel «Pepe» Vértiz

José Manuel “Pepe” Vértiz Guerra was amazed from his very first open-water dive: the feeling of flying as he dropped into the sea and everything he discovered beneath the surface. After earning his Open Water Diver certification he was hooked, and he has never stopped learning. Today he shares that knowledge with his students as an IANTD instructor, always to the highest safety standards.

His love for diving has led him to specialize in demanding disciplines across recreational and technical diving. In every class he focuses on advanced techniques, buoyancy control and the discipline needed to explore the ocean floor, sharing his passion for underwater adventure while always putting his students’ safety first.

“When you dive, it’s just you, your breath and the vastness of the sea.”
