Jorge “Cometín” has been diving since 2008 and became a diving instructor in 2015. Motivated by friends who already practiced the sport, he began diving in 2008 and immediately became addicted to this incredible sport, becoming an Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver that same year. Following his passion, and after obtaining various diving certifications and specializations, he became an IANTD Instructor in 2016 and a PADI Instructor the following year. Currently, Jorge is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, a PADI Technical Diver, and an IANTD Technical Diver Instructor.
Today, learning from and assisting Luis Sánchez, CEO and founder of Rango Extendido, Jorge continues to gain experience while teaching new students and divers who want to further their underwater training. His goal is to become a technical and rebreather diving instructor and eventually a Course Director.
Jorge loves sharing his passion and experiences with his students and is committed to their success and safety, as well as to the preservation of the wonders of the underwater world.
